Engaging Community and Social Workers
Filicide, neonaticide and infanticide are heartbreaking and complex issues that social service workers often encounter in their line of work. Understanding the causes behind this tragic act is crucial in order to prevent it from happening in the future.
It is important for social service workers to have access to resources and support to help them navigate these complex and sensitive situations. By providing training on trauma-informed care, mental health support, and resources for at-risk families, social service workers can better intervene and support those in need.

Transformative Approach
Healing Hearts: Support groups for families and mothers that have experienced filicide, neonaticide or infanticide.
Redemption & Renewal: Focuses on bringing together a diverse group of individuals, including social service workers, community members, and even those who have been impacted by neonaticide, infanticide, or filicide. By creating a safe and non-judgemental space to share stories, experiences, and perspectives, stride circles aim to foster empathy, understanding, and healing.
